There are hundreds of aftermarket wheel manufacturers to choose from, so why would you choose Detroit wheels? Detroit rims have a nice style and design to them, for the most part these wheels are finished in a satin alloy look. There are a few wheels that come in a chrome finish such as, the 2003 Cobra 815, Bullet 810, Z06 Vette 890 and the Harley 885.
Personally for me I like the look of 5 spoke chrome wheels, but as you probably know custom wheels come in many very elaborate styles and designs. Choose from wheels with rivets, multi spoke designs and more. I tend to go the way of Foose wheels, they look really hot!! Foose Speedster and Type S wheels are probably my two favorites.

- Will this size of wheels fit my vehicle? If you are choosing larger rims than factory then watch out because larger rims tend to rub against the inside of the wheel well. Ask the salesperson so you don't run into problems when you are driving.
- Wheels are huge dollars, my set of chrome 22 inch rims cost me $3275 with rubber. This is considered a cheap price, I checked around. I suggest that you do the same.
- Depending on how much you enjoy washing your car and the custom wheels you should be aware. Custom wheels with elaborate designs and rivets require more cleaning that simple design flat styles.
- Make sure not to let dirt and brake dust sit on the wheels to long, they will slowly ruin your wheels.
