The addition of Mangels wheels is designed to complement
the company’s existing portfolio, which includes well-known
manufacturers like TSW and MAK. The wheel range includes designs
for the growing performance road car and sport SUV segements.
Yokohama HPT will exclusively distribute the new custom wheels
in the UK.
The TUV-approved Mangels range includes a variety of designs,
sure to suit any vehicle. The Driver, for example, is a five-spoke,
dished design, which gives an enhanced sense of width to the
wheel. Also, the fact that the car
wheel features thin spokes
means brakes and suspension components can be cooled and shown-off
in equal measure. The Driver is available in Dark Gloss, Chrome
or Black – all with or without a machined lip. It comes
in a range of sizes from 7x17 to 8.5x19 for passenger cars
and 8.5x20 for sport and SUV models.
The Maxima range, available with either five or six pairs of
spokes and are therefore known as the Maxima5 and Maxima6 models.
These custom wheels are available in Dark Gloss, Chrome or
silver with the Maxima5 ranging from 7x15 to 8x18, while the
Maxima6 comes in either 7x15 or 7x17 sizes.
At the same time Yokohama HPT also launched the Winner and
Futura lines which are available in a Dark Gloss, Chrom or
silver. The Winner is also available in a particularly attractive
diamond-machined face, which Yokohama HPT managing director,
David Seward tips as a popular choice for 2006.
Commenting on the launch of the new range, Mr Seward said: “The
addition of the Mangels wheel range complements the existing
products in our alloy wheel portfolio, from TSW and MAK, perfectly.
We can now supply any styling option the customer requires,
whether that is aggressive, smooth and stylish or motorsport
inspired. Our range now caters for a huge fitment and every
budget.”
